    Product Description
    This magnificent antique American sterling silver christening mug has a circular rounded form to a collet style foot.
    The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is encircled with an applied girdle supporting a freize of young boys marching whilst playing musical instruments, banging pots and riding broomsticks.
    The body of this Tiffany & Co mug is further ornamented with an engraved foliate and laurel design to the background.
    The upper rim is embellished with an applied undulating band of tiered leaf designs.
    The silver mug is fitted with an exceptional cast and applied C shaped handle ornamented with a lobed, incurved design accented with simplified leaf motifs to each incurve.
    The underside of the mug bears the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'CSVD'.
    This antique silver mug features the original gilded interior.
