English Neo Gothic Solid Silver Covered Cup with Figural of St. George Slaying Dragon Hallmarked Berthold Mueller
Presented is a fantastic English Sterling silver Neo Gothic Lidded Goblet or Covered Cup with Hanau English Import marks for
Chester
silver  made in 1902-3 I believe to be by the firm of Berthold Mueller
. I have posted a picture of my research on the marks in the photos above. This beautiful tankard has a great cutout gallery around the lid surrounding an excellent detailed figural of St. George slaying the dragon and rest on a raised base. It is in lovely condition with no monogram only a few minor pin-prick dings, some ornamental trim missing from around the lid edge, and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. It is an excellent and outstanding item for the collector of antique silver.

Condition:
a few minor pin-prick dings, no monogram, some ornamental trim missing from around the cutout gallery of the lid, some fine scratches from gentle use and care.
