collector, lecturer & silversmith
Benjamin Trees
. Mr. Trees moved to
Lexington, Kentucky in 1934
and was active until his death in 1965. He produced most of his silver pieces at his home on Versailles Road in Kentucky.
This mint julep cup bares his hallmark
(a figural tree), and is also marked sterling & TREES. All hallmarks are located on the underside base of the cup
